Teaching Principles

The program embraces three basic principles of teaching and attempts to embody those principles in the workshops offered. Although there are many other important elements to good teaching, we believe these three are of particular note. The three principles are:

1. Teaching is more effective when based on clear, interactive communication between the teacher and the learners.

2. Good planning makes teaching more effective.

3. Teaching is more effective when students are actively involved in learning.
