Former Cougar Pitcher Dana Eveland
Making his way in the Majors with Oakland A's

One of the nice success stories to come out of Cougar baseball has been the story of former starting COC pitcher Dana Eveland, who in 2008-2009 was in the starting rotation for the Oakland Athletics.
Although he is no longer in the majors, he is currently a starter for the Albuquerque Isotopes, a triple-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and turned some heads when he was recently named to the Pacific Coast League squad in the 2011 Triple-A All-Star Game.

The College of the Canyons Sports Information Department caught up with Eveland on a trip to Angels Stadium in Anaheim in 2008 as a member of the Oakland As.
