California Chemistry Diagnostic Test

• The Assessment Center operates on a walk in basis for Chemistry testing within the hours listed above.
   

• Students must have an application on file with the Admissions Office before testing and picture identification is required.
   

• For the test, you will be provided with a Scantron, pencil, scratch paper, and a calculator.
   

• You will be allowed 50 minutes for the test.
   

• We will not accept the Chemistry Diagnostic Test from any other college, at this time.
   

• The Chemistry test can be taken twice a year if Chemistry 151 has not been completed (November – March / April – October). 
   

• All test results will be e-mailed to you the Friday afternoon following your test day.
   

• Passing the Chemistry Diagnostic Test allows a student to enroll in Chemistry 201. 
   

• Students who do not pass the Chemistry Diagnostic Test must enroll in Chemistry 151.
