Internship Description
COMPUTER ASSISTANT – Provide key office support to all of the SBDC's computer system needs. These include:
Working with our webbased database to enter data, manage data to insure economic milestones and other system info is properly setup, develop report writer skills, prepare basic to sophisticated reports from system and extracts to EXCEL and other file formats.
Maintaining and enhancing our website
Maintaining and enhancing the SBDC's Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts.
Our offices are on campus in the new UCEN so will be very convenient for students. We are looking for smart, top performing self motivated students. We are a smart, entrepreneurial organization that interfaces with every type of business. Top performers will get opportunities to expand their responsibilities commensurate with their interests and abilities. Top performers will also get outstanding references from the Director that will help them achieve further academic and workforce goals.
Internship Qualifications
* Very strong computer skills
* Very strong computer aptitude and interest
* 3.0 GPA
* Faculty recommendation desired
* Professional business style and demeanor
* Good communication skills
Selected intern will be required to enroll in Cooperaive Work Experience Education before starting the internship.
