In order to register for an internship or work experience course at College of the Canyons, you must view and complete the CWEE Online Orientation. Allow yourself about 30 minutes.

At the conclusion of the orientation, you will submit your contact information which initiates an email to the Cooperative Work Experience Education (CWEE) office. Once CWEE receives the email, and you complete the required forms, CWEE staff will adjust your student record permitting you to register in a specific CWE course (CWE-188 or CWE-189). The online orientation fully explains the process. To expedite the matter, you should have access to a printer, a scanner and email.

You will need your seven digit student ID#; you can find your student ID# on "MyCanyons". If you are not a COC student, you may submit an application to College of the Canyons – refer to the Admissions and Records (A&R) website. For assistant regarding your college application, student ID, or your My Canyons account, you can reach A&R at 661.362.3281.

OPTION 1 Online Orientation: Please use the link below to access the online orientation

OPTION 2 Face-to-Face Orientation: You may come to the CWEE office on the Valencia campus and take the online orientation with a staff member present to answer your questions. You may print out forms in the CWEE office and submit at that time. You do not need to reserve a seat. Just show up at any time during the listed hours. You will be viewing the orientation in a lab setting, you may use a pair of headphones in the office, or feel free to bring your own.
