are considering using our facilities for your event. Our Civic Center
staff is available to assist you in planning a successful event.
The Fine Print
The use of the District
Facilities is governed by the California Ed Code Section 83537 and the
Santa Clarita Community College District Board Policy #719. For more
specific information regarding the facilities use process, please
consult with these regulations. This guide is intended to provide a
simplified format of these sections and policy but shall not be assumed
to supersede same.
In order to use the
facility, the User must first determine the following:
1. Are the facilities
adequate for the intended use?
2. Are the facilities available during the proposed event dates?
3. Can we provide the required insurance?
4. What type of users are we: Direct Cost or Fair Rental?
5. Can we afford the fee?
6. Can we abide by the regulations?
This User's Guide will
provide the information necessary to help you answer these questions and
assist you in the successful completion of your event. As always, if you
have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Civic Center
Clarita Community College District will be referred to within this
document as the "District" and the Facility Users will be
referred to as "User".)
