Please complete the following steps to begin the enrollment process.

2. Obtain your student ID number. Once your application for admission has been processed, you will receive a student identification number. Be sure you put this in a safe place as you will be asked for it often.
3. Sign up for an Assessment session. You can sign up by coming to the Continuing Education /Noncredit office, or by calling us at 661-362-3304. Choose a date and time convenient for you from those listed below.
4. Attend the Assessment session. Plan to arrive a few minutes prior to your assigned assessment session date and time. Your assessment exam will take about 2 hours to complete. Once complete, you will know which ESL classes to take and the staff will register you in those classes. There is no charge for our Continuing Education/ Noncredit ESL classes. For assessments at College of the Canyons, please purchase a $2.00 parking permit from a vending machine in the student parking lots.
5. Attend your ESL class on the first day. Plan to arrive early to find parking on the first day of your class. Attendance is important; please plan to attend your classes regularly.
