Intensives

Students who have been dismissed from the college for academic or progress reasons are dismissed from attending college for one semester. Those who have been dismissed more than once are dismissed for one full year (2 consecutive semesters). Students who are dismissed for the first time may be allowed to stay at COC on temporary probation and enroll in classes for the next semester if they choose to attend 4-hour Intensive Workshop.

The purpose of the Intensive Workshop is to actively involve students in:

    Reviewing their academic record,
    Learning effective decision making strategies,
    Learning time management and study strategies,
    Developing problem-solving skills,
    Establishing an action plan to achieve sound educational goals,
    Developing a support network.

There is no fee for this workshop.
