Sponsored by the National Center for Education Statistics of the US Dept. of Education, provides a direct link to almost 7000 colleges, universities, technical colleges and trade schools in the U.S. There is also a college search engine on this site where you can search by location, major and level of program as well as compare school profiles.

Primarily for COC concurrent high school students, this site features college information (including view maps and directions), online college applications, financial aid information, athletic program information, and a section called “What to do if” which addresses common hurdles that prospective college students face (such as disabilities, low test scores, problems with parents, being a first-generation college student, etc.).
Free, online college search service with profiles of 3500 2 and 4 year colleges and universities.

Some colleges’ on line applications are included as is a scholarship search called Mach 25. 3D VMRL College tours are also featured at this high tech site.

This site contains a database from the University of Minnesota’s Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition. It contains information on courses for almost 300 languages at 2000 North American colleges and universities.
