Summer 2008

Half Dome

Yosemite

Spend eight days exploring the wonders of California and its history in Yosemite National Park.  Inspired by Ansel Adams, photography students will create photographs in one of the most outstanding and famously photographed landscapes in the world.  History students will explore the history of Native Americans, transcontinental railroads, environmentalism, and more.  Activities include walking tours and hiking.  Both may require students to stand for considerable lengths of time.
