checks are issued approximately 2 weeks after the loan
application process is complete.
Note: The above
dates indicate approximately when loan
checks will be ready to pick up.
A list of student
loan checks available for pick-up will be posted on the
bulletin board located outside the Financial Aid Office,
Seco Hall, 1st Floor, Room 110. The first two letters of your last name and the
last four digits of your social security number will be used
to identify that your Stafford Loan check has arrived and is
ready for pick-up.

You may pick-up
your loan check from the Student Business Office, located in
the Admissions & Records Office, Administration, Room 101, during regular
business hours. A valid photo I.D. card must be presented
for release of your loan check. Student loan checks must be
picked up in person within 25 days of the college’s receipt
of your check.
Unclaimed loan
checks left beyond 25 days will be automatically returned to
your lender. In the event that you are enrolled in fewer
than 6 units (half-time) when your loan check arrives, we
will notify you that you are no longer eligible for the
check and make necessary arrangements to return your check
to your lender.
