If you are an undergraduate with
exceptional financial need, you may be eligible for a
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (Federal
SEOG):
-
the Federal SEOG
provides up to $1,000 a year, depending on your expected
family contribution, cost of attendance and whether
you are attending full or part time
-
Priority
consideration is given if you are eligible for a
Federal Pell Grant
-
Unlike the federal
Pell Grant, funds are limited, so there is no
guarantee you will receive one. Due to limited
funding, Federal SEOG are awarded on a first come,
first serve basis.
-
Not all colleges
offer the Federal SEOG.
