The
Library Associates is a support group for the COC Library that
supports books, reading and high-quality library services at
College of the Canyons. The library, part of the College's
Instructional Resource Center, provides all types of
instructional materials for use by our students, college staff
and the community.
The
College of the Canyons library, which opened in January 1997,
is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the Santa
Clarita Valley. The nearly 30,000 square-foot facility
features an automated catalog system to streamline information
searches and circulation, as well as an impressive collection
of books and magazines. The library also has spaces for group
study, individual study, and a public gallery to display
student and community artwork.
