The College of the Canyons Canyon Country campus opened Aug. 27, 2007, welcoming thousands of students for the fall semester. Envisioned and created to increase access to higher education for students throughout the Santa Clarita Valley, the $51.6 million campus is located on 70 acres along Sierra Highway, less than two miles north of Soledad Canyon Road. The campus opened with approximately 24,000 square feet of instructional space, including two science labs, two computer labs, a library, a bookstore, a PE building, a Early Childhood Education facility, food services and 23 classrooms complete with wireless Internet connectivity.

The College of the Canyons Canyon Country Campus will undergo significant change in the years ahead. Now, members of the community have an opportunity to memorialize a loved one, a graduate, a special professor or an entire family by having their names etched on beautiful stone in the Amphitheater Founders Circle, on a commemorative seating bench or on a picnic table located on the Canyon Country Campus. Your donation will serve as a lasting monument of your support by providing accessible education to improve the lives of our students and the community.

$300 Sand-blasted Arizona Stones will become part of the Founders Circle in the Amphitheater.

$500 Seven-foot cast-concrete benches include plate inscriptions and are situated throughout the campus, serving as lasting tributes and providing both beautiful and useful seating.

 |
$1,000 Concrete picnic tables include plate inscriptions. The tables are located throughout the quad areas, serving as lasting tributes to a professor, graduate or an entire family.

Donations will support the Canyon Country Campus Innovation Fund, which enhances academic programs, provides for campus improvements and promotes innovation at the Canyon Country Campus.
