SNAC Educational Seminars
SNAC hosts seminars and workshops every semester,
featuring guest speakers on various nutrition, fitness, and wellness
topics. The workshops are FREE and open to all COC students, staff,
and faculty as well as community members. FLEX credit is available

Body-Mind Wellness (BMW) Seminar Series – Coming this Spring, 2009
SNAC BMW – The Ultimate Body-Mind Wellness Challenge
A comprehensive 8-week wellness program to promote
Body-Mind Wellness (BMW) on campus. Participants set personal goals;
monitor their daily fruit & vegetable intake, physical activity, and
stress management practices; receive social support during weekly
BMW seminars and online discussion forums; and undergo pre/post self-assessments to evaluate their wellness gains during
the program. Everyone who participates has an opportunity to win
wellness prizes! This program is restricted to COC faculty, staff,

SNAC Meetings
SNAC members meet twice a month for business/program
planning purposes. Meeting days/times change every semester based on
current SNAC members’ schedules. Students who are not official SNAC
members, but who are interested in learning more about SNAC or in
helping with SNAC activities, are welcome to attend SNAC meetings.
