SNAC Fitness Walks
Every semester, SNAC hosts
educational fitness walks through the beautiful Gardens of the
Canyons. Participants visit 6 stations along the route,
complete a short wellness activity at each station, and then receive
a prize upon the walk's conclusion. Participants walk at their
own pace and can visit the 6 stations in any order, at any
time during the designated time frame below. All fitness
walks are FREE and open to the public.
Fall 2012 Positive Student Body
October is national Fat Talk Free Week! Get some physical
activity while learning about how to promote positive body image!!!
Spring 2013 Plant-Powered
March is national nutrition month! Get some physical
activity while learning about (and tasting!) healthy plant-based
recipes that can fit into anyone's busy schedule!

Body-Mind Wellness Seminars
Every semester, SNAC hosts seminars featuring experts in the fields of nutrition,
fitness, stress management, and body image as part of the college's
Body Mind Wellness Seminar Series. These seminars
are FREE and open to the public. FLEX credit is available
to COC faculty who attend.
SNAC Business Meetings
SNAC members meet every other Friday, 9-10 a.m. for
business/program planning purposes. Anyone who is not an "official SNAC
member," but who is interested in learning more about SNAC or in
helping with SNAC activities, is welcome to attend SNAC meetings.
