Birth Control and Reproductive Health Care Services
We provide reproductive health education at no cost to currently enrolled COC students. All services are completely confidential (with special legal exceptions.) To make an appointment at either the Valencia or Canyon Country campus health center, call 661-362-3259. There is no charge for an office visit. There may be a small charge for some lab tests and medications. We do not bill health insurance and you may come to the health center even if you are uninsured.
Optional Family PACT insurance is available for any student of reproductive age. Help choosing a birth control method (AHRP). You must meet income criteria and either a.) have no health insurance, or b.) have health insurance but require privacy for birth control or sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment. We enroll eligible students in Family PACT at the health center. The Family PACT card covers contraceptives, lab tests and treatment with no co-pay required at any participating Family PACT clinic (not just at the student health center).

Men's & Womens Clinic
- Prescriptions for birth control and emergency contraceptive pills
- Condoms - prescriptions for free condoms (covered by Family PACT) or
- $2.00 for one dozen purchased at the health center
- Depo-provera birth control injection
- Family planning information, health education and counseling
- Pregnancy test
- Pap test and health screening
- STD screening and treatment
- Confidential or anonymous HIV tests
- Diagnosis and Treatment of short term illness
- Vaccinations to Prevent HPV (May be free if eligible)
- Referrals to specialists and health agencies for services not offered at the health center
- Self Help Center (non prescription medication)
