Please be prepared to answer the following questions during your
academic counseling appointment:
- What is your academic goal at College of the Canyons?
- Do you plan to transfer to a 4-year university? If so, which university and transfer major are you considering?
- Where did you attend school during your middle and high school years.
- Where did you graduate high school from?
- Have you earned college units at any institution in the U.S. or outside the U.S.?
- If so, from what country and institution(s)?
- Do you have a college degree from a college/university in the U.S. or outside the U.S.?
- If so, from what country and institution(s)?
Foreign Transcript Evaluation
To have your foreign college/university coursework evaluated for possible COC credit, it will need to be evaluated by a current NACES member and consist of the following:
- Detailed, course-by-course evaluation
- Grades and units listed for each course
- Upper and lower division course designation
