Emerging Leaders Program Overview

• Five core leadership categories to help you strengthen your leadership abilities
   

• Skillshops offered within each leadership category from which to choose
   

• Students may choose to participate in as many or as few skillshops that they choose while enrolled at the college
   

  Program Completion Requirements:

  If students complete two workshops from each of the five leadership categories plus two electives of their choice for 12 workshops total AND complete a service project coordinated by the SCV Jaycees, the student will receive:

  • Credit for completing the Emerging Leaders Program on your Student Development Transcript

  • The first year's membership dues in the SCV Jaycees paid for by the Associated Student Government.

  • An official certificate of completion that can be attached to a university, scholarship, or job application.
