The First Year Experience is kicked off by the Faculty and
Freshmen Unite Picnic during the week prior to the start of the fall
semester. This event provides an opportunity for faculty and
students to meet on an informal basis even before classes begin.
This informal setting can help break down perceived barriers
students may have between themselves and faculty. Faculty & Freshmen
Unite is sponsored by the Associated Student Government and is
coordinated by the Office of Student Development.
