There are a number of services available
to assist students in meeting their educational goals at College of the
Canyons. Known as “student services,” these programs combine to
comprise an administrative area overseen by the Dean of Students.
Additionally, the College offers courses in General Studies and Personal
Development. These academic areas also fall within the student services
area. Finally, the College has developed a series of policies and
procedures that guide the institution and students through admission to
goal completion. Writing, modifying and enforcing these policies is the
role of the Dean of Students.
Of interest to students are policies governing conduct, grade
challenges, grievances, sexual harassment, and discrimination. This web
site includes those policy statements and how to contact the Dean for
assistance.
