What is the TLC Lab?
Going to college involves more than just showing up to
class. In a typical class most
of the work is done outside of the classroom: homework, group projects,
test
preparation, and papers. At College of the Canyons there is a place on
campus that can help every step of the way, the Tutoring, Learning, and
Computing Lab (TLC). The TLC offers tutoring in English, math, CIT, and
many other subjects. These services are available to enrolled College of
the Canyons’ students for their COC courses on a walk-in basis at no charge.
No
appointment is needed.

Students who have excelled in a particular subject and have been
recommended by a faculty member.

Do
I
have
to
be
in
a
computer
class
to
use
the
computers?
No. They are open to all enrolled students who need to do
work for a College of the Canyons' course, and an
assistant is always available to help you get started even if you
have never used a computer.
What are you waiting for?
Go the TLC Lab to get help with all of your classes. Then
learn how to print out your work on one of the top-of-the-line laser
printers! (Students must purchase a print card in order to print.)
