The
TLC
Computer
Lab
offers
you
the
opportunity
to
work
on
state
of
the
art
Gateway
PCs.
All
of
the
computers
are
networked
to
Hewlett-Packard
laser
printers*
and
are
loaded
with
the
most
current
versions
of
popular
programs
such
as
Microsoft
Office
Professional
2000
which
includes
Word,
Excel,
Access
and
PowerPoint.
Our
lab
supports
all
of
the
classes
taught
in
Information
Management
which
includes
the
following
courses:
Windows
XP,
Basic
Computer
Skills and Introduction to Computers, QuickBooks,
and Adobe Indesign for Desktop Publishing. |

There are also tutorials for Beginning Algebra (Math 057/058),
Introductory Algebra (Math060), Intermediate Algebra (Math 070),
College Algebra (Math 103), and Skills Tutor for English grammar.
We also provide tutorials for biology, psychology and many
continuing education programs for the nursing students. Internet
access is now available for research for any class. In
addition, access to all online databases such as Proquest and
Encyclopedia
Britannica
are
available.
However,
there
is
a
time
limit
of
thirty
minutes.This
service
is
offered
free
of
charge.
Tutors
who know
the
programs
and
the
computers
are
always
available
to
help.
No
appointments
are
necessary. *Students must purchase a print
card in order to print in the TLC Lab. |
