Scholarship Information

You can apply for Scholarships all year  by accessing the Financial Aid website scholarship page.  

The Intuitional Scholarship allows you to submit one essay an on-line application that will enter you into every scholarship you are eligible for!

Once you have accessed the page, follow these steps:

1. Click on “Student.”

2. Provide your first and last name, student ID number and date of birth; a welcome screen will appear.

3. Click on the “Application” link at the bottom of the screen.

4. Fill in the following Information on the application:

   1. Personal Information (if you participated in the program last year, certain items will already be populated; change these as needed.)

   2. College of the Canyons academic information

   3. Transfer Plans

   4. Unique student information and additional information as requested.

   5. Answer Personal Statement Questions.

5. Personal Statement: What does the selection committee want to know?

   1. What are your academic goals?

   2. How do you plan to accomplish them?

   3. What have you overcome to get here?

   4. HINT: Use a word processing program to write your response to these questions and then cut and paste your answers into the application.

6. Letter of Recommendation

   1. Print a copy of the “Request for Letter of Recommendation” form to hand to a College of the Canyons faculty member. This form will provide them will all of the information to submit your letter, including your Name and ID Number.

   2. Make sure to include your contact information so they can reach you.

   3. Write down the class and term that you were their student to refresh their memory.

   4. Include a brief list (no more than five bullets) of personal details that you are including in your application.

   5. Allow plenty of time in advance, prior to the scholarship application deadline as a courtesy; this will give faculty enough time to respond.

7. Log Out Every Time you Exit the Scholarship Application.

   1. Not logging out properly prevents you from reentering the application in timely manner.
