College of the Canyons Art Gallery
Gallery Use Request

 

The College of the Canyons Art Gallery may be available to COC employees only for some types of events (no outside use is permitted): Lectures, guest speakers and meetings, where the art gallery is a related or desirable space suited to the event. We discourage events with food for parties and non-academic meetings because the space is often occupied with professional artist work, which we are required to keep in a clean environment. However, events with food are often allowed if the exhibition is non-professional.

Seating Diagram: Please print out the floor plan and submit a seating diagram to the Civic Center (Robin Williams) with a copy to the art gallery for art gallery approval.  
   
 
The art gallery has thirty (30) chairs and two rectangular (2) tables, a podium, a microphone and stand. The microphone is an expensive piece of equipment and must be in safe keeping by the responsible party. Additional equipment is available through Robin Williams of Facilities, X 3240.

Please complete the above information and return by email. We kindly ask that the gallery space be returned to the condition in which it was received, including clean from food spills. All catering arrangements are to be made between the responsible party and caterer.

Copies of catering and facilities requests must be sent to the art gallery, including pick up/clean up agreements that have been made.
