Heloyt Cervantes then kicks an 18-yard field goal as time expires in the 1st overtime to win the game. Carrasco’s passing record and Hamilton’s receiving record still stand today as top marks.

College of the Canyons takes 10-7 halftime lead and keeps it close trailing 21-16 at the end of the third, only to watch Mt. San Jacinto rattle off 21 straight points, including two pass interceptions returned for touchdowns.

Final Record: 7-4
