4-8-09 Cougars Fall To Valley College

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - College of the Canyons men's and women's swim teams were defeated by Valley College on Wednesday afternoon. The women lost 88-75 and the men lost 113-101. Bellina Taylor was a took home two first-place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle (2:09.12) and the 50-yard butterfly (28.86). Kelly Ames was also a double winner for the Cougar men in the 100-yard freestyle (52.35) and 50-yard freestyle (23.13). COC also dominated the relays, winning the men's 200-yard and 200-yard freestyle relays and the women's 200-yard freestyle. |
