SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - Danielle Schaefer came in fourth place on Friday afternoon at the Bakersfield Invite to help lead the women's cross country team to a third-place finish. Schaefer turned in a 20:45 over the 3.1-mile course, and was one-of-four Cougars to finish the meet in the top 25. The men cam in eighth place and were led by Michael McEvoy. McEvoy completed the 4-mile race in 21:54 for seventh place.
