CAREER ASSESSMENT

If you are undecided on a career, whether exploring a new one or looking to change the one you are in, we can help you. Career Services at College of the Canyons offers several tools that can help you narrow the career areas down so that you can select the career best suited for you.

• Try our assessment tool, “Discover”, and see what occupations match your interests, abilities, and values. Also, get job descriptions, outlooks, salaries, education required, and other important information. This assessment is free to take.
   

• Take the Myers-Brigg and/or Strong Interest Inventory and learn more about your personality type and what occupations and work environments fit you best. Currently, these inventories are offered at no cost to you.
   

• See one of our Career Advisors to discuss your assessment/inventory results or to just discuss your current situation.

As with all our services, there is no cost and the services are open to the community. To sign up for a career assessment, please call our office at (661)362- 3286 or come to our on-campus office located in (STCN) Student Center 123 (next to the bookstore/health center).
