Solvang's Hidden Secrets

	While you may have been to Solvang may times, this adventure will take you to places you have never explored and casts light on some of this Danish town's hidden secrets.  Enjoy a short docent-guided walking tour of this quaint old-world architectural-style town with a local guide.  To appreciate Solvang's Danish heritage, you'll visit the Elverhøj Museum of History & Arts, this museum showcases the history of Solvang as the rooms are filled with the city's historic photographs, artifacts, Danish arts, crafts and period pieces.  Next we will explore a Lavender farm at the height of it blooming season!  With five acres of Grosso variety lavender - the most potent variety, the fields should be breathtakingly beautiful against the backdrop of the Santa Ynez Mountains.  Three hundred year old oak trees dot the grounds, and the driveway is lined with olive trees planted by Spanish Missionaries over 180 years ago.  This tour includes lunch at a Swedish buffet in Solvang.
