The exam for this course is administered during the last two hours of class through an ANSI, (American National Standards Institute), accredited food protection manager certification organization. The exam and corresponding certificate is accepted by all regulatory agencies and organizational requirements (except Clark County Nevada). The of $30 may be paid online using a credit card at the start of the exam.
Numerous sources of food handler information are available and students taking the exam are expected to familiarize themselves with food safety concepts prior to attending class to help prepare for the exam. A study guide developed specifically for this class pay be purchased directly from the course instructor Gevork Kazanchyan; it may be made available for immediate printing/download (purchased for $15) via request through the instructor.
