College of the Canyons’ Continuing Education classes are financially supported by the state of California and are offered to you tuition-free. Continuing Education classes are designed to provide students with a high-quality learning experience, but these classes do not earn college credit. Some courses may require a materials fee or the purchase of a textbook. You must purchase a parking permit for on-campus classes.
Current course offerings include ESL (English as a Second Language) and Citizenship, Emeritus College courses for older adults, and Health and Safety courses such as Food Handlers Certification.
College of the Canyons is also working to develop Success Skills classes to support both currently enrolled credit students and those who would like to improve reading, writing, and math skills and/or earn their GED.
Additional courses in home computer hardware and networking are planned for Summer and Fall 2008.
