Massage Therapist Program Summary: As a Massage Therapist you will learn massage techniques, hydrotherapy, specialized massage and therapeutic exercise as well as make appointments, greet clients, take brief medical histories, keep records and books, market your services, and wash linens. You will clean and disinfect equipment and work areas. Massage therapists may work under the supervision of doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, dentists, or physical therapists to help people deal with injuries, stress, and chronic pain. This course combines 112-hours (17 weeks) of classroom instruction with a additional 120-hour externship to provide a complete learning experience. It is not required to attend the information meeting prior to registering for this program.

Spring 2009 Class Dates: Saturdays, February 21, 2009, ending June 20, 2009 -  Class will not meet on: 4/11 and 5/23
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Valencia campus)

Course Fee: $2,190 includes books, consumable supplies, externship, and course completion certificate. Payment must be paid in full at time of registration.

Financial Assistance:  Students with a need for financial assistance may explore the Financial Aid link or secure financial assistance through any student loan lending agency, such as a local bank. Students who will be using financial aid should begin the application process at least three weeks before they intend to register as payment must be paid in full at time of registration.

Math and English Skills: Students will be required to pass an elementary English language and math skills test. Browse through a sample of a math and English skills pretest now.
