ONE DAY WORKSHOP FOR DISMISSED STUDENTS

Students who have been dismissed from the college for academic or progress reasons are obliged to stay out one semester. Those who have been dismissed more than once must stay out one full year.

The purpose of the intensive is to actively involve students in:

• reviewing their academic record,

• identifying career interests, learning styles, and career goals,

• learning time management and study strategies,

• developing problem-solving skills,

• establishing an action plan to achieve sound educational goals,

• developing a support network.

The intensives will begin at 8:30 am and end at 3:30 pm. There is no fee for the day. Breakfast, lunch and all materials will be provided. Completion of the workshop will allow you to remain enrolled in the Spring, 2008 semester.  You will be required to complete two online surveys at least 48 hours (2 days) before your scheduled workshop.  Please print your confirmation page for further important details.
