At this time College of the Canyons offers an AA degree in transfer studies which is transferable to any California State University campus. In the future we will offer online AA degrees in subjects including Social Sciences and English.

 

A note to all students interested in the online AA degree:

For students who want to quickly acquire the basic skills necessary to be successful in online courses, we offer: COUNS 070 - Becoming a Successful Distance Learning Student - 1-unit, degree-applicable. Offered credit/no credit.   

Included:

·         time management skills

·         discover your personal learning style

·         Navigate the virtual Blackboard classroom

·         Practice a variety of communication techniques; email, discussion threads, real time chat, and more.

·         Manage attachments to discussions and emails

·         Utilize the Internet as a research device.
