2012-2013 Scholarship Program

Welcome to the College of the Canyons annual scholarship program!  We understand that your college education is one of the most important investments you will ever make in your lifetime.  With an additional small investment of your time, you can apply for scholarships to help you pay college expenses.  Scholarships serve to honor academic achievements, special talents and interests, as well as provide money to student's who demonstrate financial need.

The 2012-2013 Scholarship Program is an annual scholarship program created only for College of the Canyons students.  The program offers a great variety of scholarships based upon academic achievement and/or financial need.  Criteria vary from scholarship to scholarship.  Funding for the annual scholarship program comes from  two major partners - the COC Foundation and Associated Student Government. Gifts and endowments from community organizations, private individuals, corporations as well as foundations, sponsor student scholarships as a means of expressing confidence in College of the Canyons students.

Remember, privately funded scholarships are only one form of financial aid available to students.  If you would like to be considered for other types of financial aid, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (661) 362-3215 or finaid@canyons.edu or visit the website at  www.canyons/money4college for further information.
