Using NetLibrary
NetLibrary is an electronic library containing over 3000 book titles. Pages from the books may be downloaded or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The subject matter of the ebooks encompasses a wide range, and the materials may be particularly helpful to college students.
After you log in to NetLibrary you will automatically be on the Basic Search option. This will allow you to perform simple searches with options including full-text, keyword, author or subject. Below is an example of a Full text search for books containing the term "Nursing".
The books deemed the most accurate are listed first:
Once you have selected your book you will be directed to an Abode Acrobat File containing the book's contents. Please note that once the book is opened you need to use the Acrobat menu bar above the book page, NOT the Web browser toolbar. Hold the mouse over the icon to see its function. The first three icons are for saving files, printing, and emailing.
From the Adobe Acrobat Toolbar you may save and download the current page, look for words or phrases in the page, and enlarge the text. Printing from NetLibrary is permitted, but you are restricted to print one page at a time. You cannot print out an entire book.
