Flexible Calendar Activities Exchange Program

 

State Law (Title 5, section 55726b and 55728) allows community colleges to replace up to 15 days of instruction with professional development activities by implementing a Flexible Calendar Program. At College of The Canyons, ten days of instruction are replaced with FLEX days. Each faculty member is required to complete 41 hours of FLEX activities.
Up to 12 hours of the FLEX obligation can be met by attending or participating in the FLEX activities at institutions of higher learning.  To receive credit, please print and complete this form and return it to the Professional Development Office.
