CAN I GET ON A MAILING LIST TO LEARN ABOUT UPCOMING EVENTS? You can request to be placed on a postal mailing list by filling out our online request form. To receive email alerts and newsletters, subscribe by entering your email address and clicking "go" in the "Stay Connected" field to the right. HOW DO I BECOME A DOCENT OR VOLUNTEER? You may fill out our online request form or inquire about volunteer opportunities during your next visit. HOW MANY SEATS ARE IN THE CENTER? Both the Black Box theater and the proscenium stage theater have seating that can be affected by configuration and technical requirements of individual events. Generally, however, the Black Box can seat about 100 people, while the main theater can seat 886 to 926 people. DOES THE CENTER ACCOMMODATE WHEELCHAIRS?

Please Note: Wheelchair (remain in wheelchair) and Transfer (wheelchair patron transfers to theatre seat) seating is reserved exclusively for patrons with accessible needs and their companions (up to three companions per wheelchair and transfer accessible patron). The purchase or use of accessible seating by patrons without accessible needs is strictly prohibited and can result in relocation or revoked ticket privileges without refund. MAY I SEE A SEATING CHART? The seating chart shows how the general seating arrangement of the orchestra and balcony areas. Not all seats will be available for all shows. Wheelchair seats are designated. HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS? You can purchase tickets online, in advance, in-person at the Box Office or at the door if tickets are still available. Credit cards accepted for payment are Visa and MasterCard. DO YOU HAVE GROUP RATES? Group rates are available for some performances. Please call the Box Office at (661) 362-5304 for more information. WHERE SHOULD I PARK, AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Parking is free for most Performing Arts Center events. College of the Canyons has ample parking in its student parking lots. Being a busy college campus, some daytime events may encounter parking difficulties, but look for signs directing you to event parking. Valet parking will be available for some events. WHAT IS THE CENTER'S SMOKING POLICY? Smoking is prohibited in the Performing Arts Center. If you are a smoker, look for clearly marked “smoking areas” outside of the building. CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD OR DRINKS TO PERFORMANCES? No food or drink is allowed in either the main or Black Box theaters. A concession stand is located in the main lobby, first floor, of the Performing Arts Center, and all food and drink must be disposed of before entering the theaters. "COC Presents" shows have additional food and beverage concessions. CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OR RECORD AT PERFORMANCES? No. Taking still or video pictures and/or using tape recorders are strictly prohibited. Any patron who brings a camera or recording equipment into the theater will be asked to leave it with the house manager. This equipment will be returned to the patron after the event is over. WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE LATE FOR A PERFORMANCE? To cause the least amount of disruption to the performance and to other patrons, if you arrive late you’ll be seated at the discretion of the house manager. You might not be seated in your assigned seats until intermission. MAY I BRING CHILDREN TO PERFORMANCES? We welcome family attendance at the Performing Arts Center. Children 2 and older will require a ticket for entrance. Strollers and baby seats are not allowed in the theaters. Only you can decide whether a performance is suitable for and interesting to your child. We also ask you take into consideration whether a child can sit quietly for an entire performance without disturbing other members of the audience. WHAT IS THE POLICY REGARDING CELL PHONES? The ringing of a cell phone can be distracting for both the audience and the performers. If you bring a cell phone into the theater, we ask that you turn it off or put it in “vibrate” mode before the performance begins. If you must use your cell phone during intermission, please remember to turn it off before re-entering the theater. DOES THE CENTER HAVE A DRESS CODE? It is extremely difficult to enforce a dress code in a public facility such as the Performing Arts Center. However, we believe that dressing nicely and acting responsibly are important ways of showing respect for the performers, technicians, theater workers and everyone who is working hard to bring high-quality entertainment to our community. The house manager reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who may be wearing clothing or acting in a manner that will disrupt other patrons or the performers. CAN THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER BE RENTED? Yes. The Performing Arts Center may be rented during times when the stages are idle. More information |

Your canceled check or credit card statement will be your receipt of payment and proof that your order has been processed. May I make a specific seating request? We welcome any specific seating request but cannot guarantee that the requests can be fulfilled at the time of purchase. The ability to fulfill your request depends on seating availability at time of processing. How are series subscriptions seating assignments determined?
