Over the last decade, Steve Tyrell has been at the forefront of a renaissance in recordings, including everything from movie soundtracks to Grammy-winning albums produced with Rod Stewart. Tyrell’s career in music and entertainment tracks back to some of the biggest names in the industry, including Stewart, Dionne Warwick, Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor and, of course, the illustrious Burt Bacharach. Tyrell’s first album, "A New Standard," spent 90 weeks on the Billboard jazz chart, peaking in the Top 5. A stunning singer and songwriter, Tyrell followed with three critically acclaimed albums that also reached Top-5 status. His most recent album, "Back to Bacharach," a tribute to Bacharach, was released in 2008, with all proceeds going to the National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance in remembrance of Steve's wife Stephanie, who passed away from cancer in 2004. "I like to say 'Back to Bacharach' was 40 years in the making," Tyrell says about his newest work. "There is no other music like this in my life. And I am honored to share it with the world ... my way."
