January 18, 2008 Admissions & Records Office Now Open Saturdays In a move to help students with busy schedules, the Admissions and Records Office at College of the Canyons is permanently extending its office hours to include Saturdays. With the exception of Saturdays following a Friday holiday, Admissions and Records will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students will also be able to speak to representatives in the counseling and student business offices, which will allow students to settle all their admission needs in one convenient stop. "We are always looking for ways to make things easier for our students," said Jasmine Ruys, director of admissions and records at the college. "The new hours will help us accommodate students who may work during the week or who only take Saturday classes." During the week, the office will operate under regular hours, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Online services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. |
