Memorial Service Slated for Slain COC Employee
WHAT: College of the Canyons will conduct a memorial service to honor the life and memory of Harry Howard, coordinator of service-learning at the college, who was murdered at his home on Monday, Feb. 17. Howard dedicated his life to all of the students, faculty and community partners involved with the college's Service-LearningProgram since he came to College of the Canyons in September 1999.
Faculty, staff, family, friends and community members are welcome to attend and share their memories of this gentle, generous and dedicated man. Attendees are invited to bring dessert items: cookies, brownies, etc., to add to the celebratory atmosphere of the service.
