Students to Protest Proposed Cuts
WHAT: College of the Canyons students and faculty will be staging a protest against proposed budget cuts to California community colleges. This protest is also open to members of the community who want to show their support for community colleges and education. The protest will take the form of a march, creation of a “mock” graveyard, rally, and student speeches to draw attention to the inequitable cuts to community colleges proposed by the governor.
