Second Section of Popular Computer Class Added Due to the popularity of the College of the Canyons Extension class "Computers and You," another section has been opened for older adults with little or no computer experience who wish to learn basic computer skills. "Computers and You" is a hands-on class that teaches students how to use a mouse to conduct simple Internet searches, how to use email, and will address consumer awareness and basic safety. The textbook needed for the class costs $24.30 and can be purchased at the COC bookstore. The class will be held from 9 to 11:10 a.m. starting Thursday, March 15 at the College of the Canyons campus. "Computers and You" is a tuition-free class offered through the Canyons Emeritus College, which provides lifelong learning opportunities for older adults throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.
