Student Art Exhibition Slated at College of the Canyons Gallery
Works of art by College of the Canyons students will be on exhibit from April 23 through May 15 in the college’s main art gallery. The works exhibited represent various art forms such as painting, drawing, photography and sculpture.
The exhibit will be juried by Louise Lewis, art gallery director at California State University, Northridge.
The annual exhibit opens with a reception in the gallery from 7 to 9 p.m. on April 22. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The gallery is closed on Friday, Sunday and all college holidays. Admission to the gallery is free.
To attend the exhibition, visitors may obtain a $1 parking permit valid in any student parking lot from the vending machines in lot #6 or the south parking lot on the COC campus.
