Dr. Marshall (Mark) Drummond became chancellor of all California community colleges on Jan. 18, 2004. As chancellor, he leads the 110-campus, 72-district community college system. Prior to his appointment as chancellor, he served as chancellor of the Los Angeles Community College District. The 4 p.m. reception will include members of the colleges' Board of Trustees, superintendent-president, members of the faculty and staff, student leaders and guests.
