'Tecnifícate' Conference to be Held at College of the Canyons June 4
The California Community Colleges Economic & Workforce Development Program and Ariel Coro, founder of Tu Tecnologia, have joined forces to present “Tecnifícate,” an educational workshop focusing on the importance of technology in the personal and professional development of members of the Latin community.
"Tecnifícate" is designed specifically for Spanish-speaking residents of California to encourage greater adoption and understanding of technology while, at the same time, educating attendees on the tangible and positive impact it will have on their lives.
This free, one-day event will include presentations from a panel of distinguished speakers and information on how to leverage technology to:
- Find jobs
- Grow a business
- Improve a child’s education
- Stay up-to-date and in contact with family members
This workshop will be specifically focused for the Latin community and will be conducted entirely in Spanish.
"Tecnifícate" will take place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) at College of the Canyons, 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Santa Clarita. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.
