Popular Spanish Institute Slated to Return this Fall
College of the Canyons is once again offering its Intensive Spanish Institute, from Aug. 2 to 6. Designed primarily for teachers and those in medical professions to hone practical language skills for on-the-job situations, it is also very useful for anyone wishing to learn Spanish language and culture. All levels of fluency are welcome and will benefit from the instruction.
This summer’s language and culture institute is a five-day program that includes daily conversation groups, cultural and practical workshops, faculty lectures, technology activities, dance lessons, film viewings and special presentations. This summer’s theme revolves around people, history, languages, education, economy and communities of Latin America in the 21st century.
