College Hosts 2nd Entrepreneur Conference

Subject: 2007 "Dream and Discover" Entrepreneur Conference

Event: A conference for business owners and entrepreneurs who are interested in starting

their own business or need business advice. This conference will provide tips to small business owners and entrepreneurs about how to better plan for business growth and access capital, while also discussing the various challenges associated with starting a new business.

Speakers at the conference include Rohit K. Shukla, founder and CEO of Larta Institute, and award-winning photographer, Steve Uzzell.

For those who are looking for on-site professional business consulting advice, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is hosting SpeedBIZ, an interactive session with eight specialized SBDC counselors, including representatives from Citibank and Poole & Shaffery, LLP. This will occur at the conclusion of the speakers' sessions.

Tickets for the conference are $39 in advance, $49 at the door, and $15 with a valid student ID. For access to the SpeedBiz session, tickets are $20 more.
