College Hosts Alumni Barbecue & Awards Ceremony Subject: Homecoming Alumni & Friends Barbecue and Awards Ceremony Time: 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 Place: College of the Canyons, Cougar Den at Cougar Stadium Contact: Michele Edmonson (661) 362-3435 Event: An event honoring COC alumni and Lenny Mohney, dean of physical education at the college and Vicki Engbrecht, assistant superintendent of the Hart High School District. The barbecue will be followed by the college's homecoming football game against West Los Angeles College at 7 p.m. The barbecue will include dessert and beverages and all proceeds will go towards the Alumni Scholarship Fund.
