College's Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble Ready for 'A New Beginning'
The performing arts departments at College of the Canyons have been chomping at the bit for years for a proper place to play, none more than the music department which kicks off its 2004 season with the Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble presenting "A New Beginning" on November 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Vital Express Center for the Performing Arts.
Led by director K.C. Manji and composer/arranger Dirk Fischer, "A New Beginning" will feature the talents of students and local community members in a performance resonating with the energy and life that is synonymous with the College of the Canyons Music Department.
Tickets for "A New Beginning" are $7 for adults, $6 for students with a valid ASG card, or $5 for children 13 and under. All tickets can be purchased in advance at www.vitalexpresscenter.com or by phone by calling (661) 362-5304. Tickets can be purchased at the box office on the day of the event.
